OP which browser are you using?  Some users have issues with Internet Explorere 10 not installing the latest webplugin.  This happened to me so I installed Mozilla Firefox and the battlelog plugin for firefox works perfectly.

If you are using IE 10 and experiencing this problem you can either uninstall IE10 so it downgrades to IE 9 (you'll have to disable automatic browser updates so it doesn't re-upgrade to IE10 later) or use Firefox or Chrome.
