As for your issue, you need to install the games with an internet connection, then swap Origin to Offline mode, and you shouldn't have further issues. If your system is portable/a laptop you can just bring it to somewhere with active wifi and download everything.
If you have a desktop/a non-mobile system, you can make backups of the games from your parents' system, then transfer these to your home system. Then you could try setting up a mobile hotspot to get a temporary connection. With this connection, log into Origin and the games should install/perform the license/ownership check. Once this completes you can click the top left of the Origin client, then choose "Go offline"
