@MNGOMangothat not exactly true, there are games that allow cross platform competitive play between PC and consoles such as Rocketleague and Final Fantasy (14 maybe?). That being said Microsoft and Sony generally dislike and discourage cross platform play and in the case of Battlefield each network (PSN, Xbox Live, Origin) is a walled garden where we can't interact with other platforms. it is a pity because I'd love to have cross platform play in a variety of games.

    This being true, I was speaking solely to the aspect of Battlefield 4 cross platform, as to not create any miscommunication due to this being posted in the Battlefield 4 Forum.
