Re: Can't connect to a server on PS3
@EA_Bastian wrote:@Danny74_2011 As the issue only happens during the night, for how long do you have problems connecting to EA games and could you please tell us the model of your routername and who your Internet service provider is?
Please check the following workarounds and keep us updated:
Disable your Media Server Connection:
The Media Server Connection allows other devices to connect to your PLAYSTATION 3. Often, the Media Server Connection is known to cause issues when players try to connect to the Internet for online game play.
- Access your Xross Media Bar menu
- Navigate to Settings
- Select Network Settings
- Select Media Server Connection and choose the Disable option.
Try to reset your console:
1. Turn off Playstation 3.
2. Hold The power button down; The system will turn on and turn off once again.
3. Once the System has been shutdown, re-press you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps
4. When you hear the 2 beeps take finger off power button.
5. You will be prompted to plug in your controller via usb and then hit the PS button
6. The Recovery menu will pop up.
7. Select Restore File System.
This will delete any corrupt files off of your system. It won't delete any game data. It might still worth a try to remove all BF4 game data (not your savegame files) from your system in order to re-install the game.

I tried those things already, I had disabled the Merdia Server connection a long time ago so it wasn't that.
I did reinstall the game but the problem still persisted, didn't restore system files though.
I opened some ports and the problem still persisted, however I fixed this problem by setting my PS3 on DMZ mode, at least I never had this problem since I done that.
Anyways, thanks for the reply
