Re: Can't Login to Battlelog

@twgecko02

This could be caused by your anti-virus program you are using.  Try to disabling it temporarily and see if it allows you to work.

If not, another thing is to power cycle your router and modem, fully shut both off for 60 sec, plug in the modem until it fully boots up, and then plug-in the router.

    I appreciate the help but it didn't seem to work. Any other suggestions and I would be happy to hear them.

    @twgecko02 I see you play on PC, have you tried clicking play on BF4 in Origin instead of logging in from the website? It may override the error you are having with login in directly.

    Again, I appreciate the help but I have already tried this. Thank you for the attempt though.

  • @twgecko02 If it works on the same computer at a friends house but not yours, then the problem isn't on your computer. The problem is on your network. Maybe a network device is blocking/interfering with your login for some reason. Have you tried connecting your computer directly to your cable/dsl/uverse/fios modem?

    That's roughly what I figured, I have tried opening all of the ports that EA recommends and I am connected to my router, I could try connecting to my modem sometime. I might be getting a new router, Maybe that would solve the problem?

  • @twgecko02 I would try connecting to your modem to see if that works. Your router could have a configuration issue. You could try updating it's firmware and resetting it to default state.

    Unfortunately, The way my house is wired makes it very difficult to connect to the modem directly. I think the weird thing is that this started happening around the same time that I re-installed my router. I don't know how that would block battlelog but it could have something to do with it.

    Do you have any flashblockers\popup\script blockers etc active in your browsers? If you do disable them and try logging in again Battlelog needs.

    EDIT:  just saw your last post about your router. Have you tried doing a factory reset on your router to clear whatever change was made that is contributing to your inability to join at your house that isn't present on other networks.  Seeing what you've posted it seems the problem lies with your router.

    Yeah, I have tried disabling ad blocker and other interfering browser plugins. I did factory reset my router last week, but that seems to be the cause of the problem as that is about when it started. I am installing my new router tonight, hopefully that will work

    Thank you all so much for the help, I got it working once I installed my new router! Still not sure what it was, but I'm glad that it works now.

    correspond to your Attorney General and better business bureau. EA does not respond to issues thus constituting fraud. I am going this route.
