Re: Can't use MK11 Mod O in B3P, appears as SVD in-game

That's strange that you have different emails between your gaming accounts and your origin account. When I tried to activate my battlefeed last night, it told me "sorry but there is not an origin account with the email address [edit: email address removed]" and that email address was the one that is my contact email address for my xbox live account. I'm not sure how they got it or why I couldn't change it to point to the one I had already created for origin, but I'm guessing they have access to your xbox live contact info and force you to use that (since there wasn't a place for me to change it and I never got an option to set that as an email address for anything EA/BF3 related).

Anyway, I think this is the link you're looking for? http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/soldier/ShadowHunter77/stats/230142697/xbox/

Thank you for the link Jackson this helps a lot.  Looking at your recon score you haven't Service Star'd recon yet so you can only use the MK11 while on the US side and you can only use the SVD while on the Russian side.  Your current Recon score is 85806 out of the required 195000 recon score rquired to be able to use the MK11 on both the US and Russian sides and the SVD on both the US and Russian sides.  However you can rank up recon fairily quickly to the required 195K points by playing Conquest Dominition and planting the TUGS motion sensor near the objective so you get  a lot of points from everyone killing the enemy as they're trying to cap the flag.  Be sure to strategically plant spawn beacons too (you get points for squad mates spawning on them) as your squad will freuqnelty use them to quickly respawn to defend an objective.

Short version, you haven't gotten enough recon points to use both weapons with both factions yet - but you're halfway there!

Thanks for the tip, very useful.

So why am I able to use the MK11 in the customize section and it doesnt show as locked, but the SVD does? Is it because I bought the premium version of the game, or is there another reason?

Are you talking about on the Battlelog website or in game?  In game if you are on the US side you'll be able to customize the MK11, and when you're on the Russian side you'll be able to customize the SVD, and if you are not in game but in the soldier customization menu you will be able to customize both weapons by switching your faction by clicking the "Y" or Triangle button.  When you switch factions in the soldier customization menu while not in game your soldier will change appearance from US to RU and you can cusotmize each faciton's weapons that way.

On the battlelog webiste under the loadout tab you will also be able to select both faction's weapons and customize them for your loadout, however when you spawn into a game only the faction appropriate weapon will be available.
