Whilst not essential for me, it is a change that I would have absolutely no objection to.

While I personally wouldn't have much use for this (mostly play solo), I can definitely see lots of people welcoming this kind of option and can't think of too many downsides.
Op congratulations as you must have a lot of friends! It usually works for me to have my friends on my squad and have them outlined in green. I do play solo a lot though.
Can I have my friends who plays on the enemy team lighten up in bright fluorescent neon orange color please? 😃
