Re: ERROR SYNCING CLOUD STORAGE DATA

@dgtale is about the Registry keys (of your windows) must be cleaned, otherwise it'll have reinstalled the operating system.

But you can try this.

-ensure that your Firewall and/or Antivirus are not blocking the connection. The easiest way would be adding an exception for the Origin Client.
You need to do this add firewall/antivirus exceptions for Origin and open the needed ports http://help.ea.com/en/article/connection-issues-with-origin/#1

-clear DNS cache
https://documentation.cpanel.net/display/CKB/How+To+Clear+Your+DNS+Cache
- clearing hosts file
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972034

And try the resetting your Internet Explorer settings: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737? then..

Open Internet Explorer and clicked the little gear wheel in the top right corner of the browser.
-click Internet Options
-click Security Tab
-click Trusted Sites
-click Sites in the little box
A window popped up and had the Origin web address in the 'add this website to the zone' box.
-click Add
-click Close

Restart your machine.

Make sure you are the administrator, run the setup file Origin with Admin rights

@yahel_1 thank you for your reply; you have pointed me to the right direction: the restart of the modem+router did the trick

    Hi dgtale,

I am having a similar problem like you but with Mass Effect Andromeda.

I followed the steps described here but I am still getting this error?

I did a reset of my modem also did a dns flush - no success.

Did you do anything else to fix this problem?

    Hey @lionheartfkoz,

if you come across the error that your cloud save cannot be synced, you can try to manually overwrite it with your local one.

    - Deactivate cloud sync in Origin

    - Launch the game and play to create a newer local version of the saved data

    - Close game

    - Activate cloud sync in Origin

    - Relaunch game, you should now be prompted if you wanna overwrite your cloud save

You can now overwrite the potentially corrupted cloud save by choosing the corresponding option.

    Hi EA Joker

So what you are saying is basically going to overwrite my cloud save which has many hours of gametime and I will lose it correct?

You do realise this method will lose everything and I have to start from scratch which I am trying to avoid.

Is there no other way around this?

The purpose is to recover my cloud save and how the heck did it get corrupted?

This should not happen as I saved correctly last time.
