Server browser is not the best, broken most of the time. For Conquest mode servers are mainly full with queuing people and if I'm lucky I get a choice of two or three games to join. I like the convenience of quick join when it works.
So trying to join an operation and five times in a row it put me in either the wrong operation or a finished game. In the server browser every operation is full on the map I want !!!!

Server browser is actually the best way once you get your filters set up correctly as you can control which match you join 100% of the time including the servers running normal presets that aren't listed in the quick match due to minor changes such as reduced player start being enabled. With quick match you are at the mercy of several different factors. Regarding the issue of being put into US servers that normally is related to when you are trying to play. If there aren't any games in your region that match your quick match criteria it will look outside of your region, and this happens more during your local off peak player hours.
I live on the west coat of north america and have the same problem the matchmaking constantly puts me in EU servers, Were I get a ping over 200. I tried the server browser but when I find a Room I like I can't add it to favorites, I have now come to the conclusion that EA dose not care, and that the CEO should be fired and the programers drug tested.
