I have reinstalled the game, I have uninstalled one drive, everything is in admin mode, and i dont have a firewall with avast. The result is the same, infinite loading.

    Hmm, okay.

Right click the start menu button and open command prompt (admin)

    Then type:

    dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    and this after:

    sfc /scannow

In each scan take note of the result.
If it fails let me know.
If it has repaired something restart your PC and test the game. (after both scans)
If it completes without fixing anything let me know.

  • It completed and fixed something, I restarted the PC and attempted to start the game with the same result.

  • Both were allowed through the firewall. I gave it 15 minutes after starting the game up with no change.

Odd, okay lets tray a diff approach.

So bit of a back story: I see some issue similar to a user who had issues loading the game with the inability to save or connect.
But the errors I see in your dxd is similar to theirs and its something to do with permissions.

Could you set the BF and Origin .exe's to run as admin on launch for me and disable the cloud storage saves in origin.

    Then try load the game.

Do you have any other backup software installed on your PC or syncing software like onedrive?

  • I had those things completed already, both app's set to run as admin on all users. Cloud saves turned off as well. I'm not sure what else would interfere with the game. Believe me, cloud saves used to make the game nearly unusable years ago when I played. I would start the game and it would display "installing 0%" and I couldn't play unless turning on and off the cloud saves until it would eventually run. I had to do this for BF5 as well.

I can't seem to narrow it down, could you run the game for 5min in the loading screen to recreate the error log and repost the event viewer again.

(it will make new error codes within the last hour and I can focus on those)
    Sorry about this.

  • I ran it for over 5 minutes, though im unsure if it updated the event log.

  • No change, I have also disabled Avast while repairing the game with no luck.

    Hmm

Okay lets do a detailed uninstall of origin and BF.
Once you uninstalled I will ask you to check certain locations to delete files so the reinstall is as clean as possible.

    • C:\ProgramData and delete Origin and Electronic Arts folder.
    • C:\Program Files (x86) Del Origin and origin games.
    • C:\Users\%USER% Del .Origin.
    • C:\Users\%USER%\Documents Del Battlefield  (1 and V)
    • C:\Users\Tiberiusmoon\AppData\Local Del Origin
    • C:\Users\Tiberiusmoon\AppData\Roaming Del Origin

Some of these locations maybe different if you installed the game elsewhere, also Appdata is a hidden folder if your not familiar with it.

Once done reinstall everything, combined with the sfc scan we did earlier a new install with a repaired OS should be the answer.

On a side note; if this does not work could you go to apps and features then send me a list of all the apps you have installed excluding the apps with windows and microsoft in its name.

  • It took a while to redownload the game. It didn't work, and i'll get back to you when i can.

Okay you have a lot of apps lol.

Lets run Windows in safe mode and try run the game, just incase its a service affecting the game.

    1. Press Windows logo key + X on the keyboard.
    2. Hold the Shift key while clicking Restart from Shut down or sign out menu.
    3. Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings >Restart.
    4. After the PC restarts, a list of options will be shown. Select the option for safemode with networking.
    5. Then run the game.
  • Apologies for the weeklong delay. I don't work normal hours. I finally found a solution, thanks to you buddy! I'm going to post what services I have left that are disabled, but the game actually works. Maybe I will get to going through them one by one to find the culprit, but what do you think? Again, thanks for the help!

I would reccomend disabling/uninstalling VPN stuff like tunnel bear, tunngle and possibly logmein.
If they are not used then uninstall.
