They should send you a key since Origin is required to activate the game but for a full confirmation I would recommend contacting Amazon directly.

- As of right now you cannot gift a game from Origin itself.
Unless you buy from a different source like a store that sells it, then you can do it that way.
The way I done it was, over team viewer on my friends pc I brought the game with my card and told it not to remember. Luckily he was trusty and that's how I done it.
Origin is not as smart as Steam
