Same thing happened to myself and my full squad.
All five of us tried with different weapons, no hit markers or damage against the opponent.
I doubt latency is the issue simply because only one OOR player in squad and other 4 players were IR on DICE official west coast server.
Melee, explosive damage worked, however we might as well of shot marshmallows at the other team.
Deleted all content and cleared cache, rebooted and tried reinstalling. No DICE, pun intended; it happened again.
New update has quite a lot of issues.
