Could you please try to launch the game in window mode?
If you are not able to change the settings ingame, you can find the file to manually change your graphic settings under: C:\Users\User X\Documents\Battlefield 4\settings

Could you please provide us some information about your PC, especially your hardwar and any kind of gaming device would help our community to investigate your issue.
Here are several workarounds from BF3, this might help as we have some similar problems with the previous game
- Try to enter the window mode with “ALT+ENTER” and change your graphic resolution. You can try this step a couple of times. Sometimes it helped to try this more than once.
- Right click at desktop ->personalize -> Display (box at left) -> Check and change textsize -> restart the game check if that solved the problem
- If you are using a NVIDIA card, you can try following: go to the NVIDIA Control Panel -> 3D Settings -> PhysX Configuration -> Select 650M under the pull-down instead of autoswitch.
