Re: How do I remove "Please update your video driver"

I hardly think it is the "advertising departments" that creates that pop-up 😛

What is telling you to update your driver, is it Origin? because I've never seen it do that.

No, your right, but it does get done by someone. And well we know there are no shady deals in video games.

Look there is no real reason for this pop up, none what so ever, it's frankly not there area of responsibility. So it it looks more like impropriety then EA/Dice being helpful.....just real vile stuff.

I was using 306.23 BEFORE loading BF4. I updated to the latest Nvidia driver 331.82 and THEN loaded in BF4.

Since applying the latest Nvida driver I've had countless crashes in and OUTSIDE of the game. I had to turn off my Power savings setting so my monitor won't shut off, it I didn't it would lock up the PC. GIMP almost always crashes now, even after updates.   And BF4 was braly playable.

I uninstalled 331.82 and went back to 306.23 and all is right as rain, and BF4 runs WAY BETTER, not even close, so yes I can use the older drivers, they work great.

What I em having a problems with now, every time I go load in BF4 ( which several times a day due to EA's latest joke/screw you with the idle timer on BF4 servers) I get a pop up warning that stops the game load till you click "OK". It tells me "Please update your NVIDIA GeForce driver", this has only happens after going back to the old one. I never ran the game before I updated to the new one so I don't know if it would pop you then.

What I do know is it's a pain in the ass from a company that is already a pain in my ass. I also know that my Quad core with it's old 460GTX runs sooooooooo much smoother in game with the old drivers, period.

I guess I have two questions....

    1. Does EA staff respond to these, or do they side step their reasonably here to?

    2. And the biggie....How do I remove the pop up warning?
