DUNDUNDUNDUNDUNDUN "Like, my installation didn't work, and like, no EA staff replied when I made a topic about it on the support page. Rad!" ONLY IN BATTLEFIELD DUNDUNDUNDUNDUNDUN
Hi, there's a thread on this topic here http://answers.ea.com/t5/Battlefield-4/Game-Won-t-Install-from-Disk-PC/td-p/1724183
Most common solution is to just turn off anti virus/real time scanning while installing and to also install as Admin.
Also the final page of the thread has a solution involving copying all the files to your Pc. The steps outlined are here:

This did not help....
Eh, did you try everything suggested in the 6-page thread? Such as.........
Uninstall Origin and let the Disc reinstall Origin?
The suggestions of eanils?
- Logging on as administrator / running the installer as administrator
 - Disabling compatibility mode
 - Disabling any emulation software (clean boot as described in my previous post should also take care of this)

I turned off Real-Time-Scanning and ran as administrator. It is now installing. I REALLY hope it works.... This actually did help.
Cool. If it works then mark this as solved so others will also no what to do (and please give me an XP too thanks 🙂 )
