My account is missing, have to wait an hour to get a call or that long for live chat
Members of my clan (3Mob) are now experiencing the same issue

This had to be an EA/Origin issue because without my doing anything I once again have my soldier back

Seems as this issue is now fixed, If anyone else is still having issues then please let us know below.

It seemed ok, but after loading finishes, it disconnects and claims it couldn't connect to the server... fml

Try a PC reboot or wait a while, it can take a bit before all servers are back up and normal after a downtime.
