If you are using Windows Firewall, check your settings.  Specifically, check the "Allow an app through firewall".  Mine had some items set up just as Private while others were Public.  When I looked at some games, they had both the Private and Public tick boxes ticked.  Battlefield 1 did not.  I clicked on "Change settings" and then made sure that I ticked both boxes.

Played for a couple of hours and never had a drop.  In fact, the little yellow network indicator that shows up on the right side of the screen when you are in game never popped up.
