Re: MATCHMAKING ISSUES?

Hey @Mazzyz85,

Sorry to hear about these connection issues you're experiencing.

Have you tried any of the following steps?

https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/

I would also recommend opening the suggested Ports for Battlefield 1 if you haven't already:

https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/opening-tcp-or-udp-ports-for-connection-issues/

Also, you can try doing a UOTrace (Which is listed in the troubleshooting steps), and contacting EA Support via Live Chat, so they can take a look at it for you and let you know if there's any issues.

Try these steps, and let us know if anything improves.

Thanks 🙂

I will give this one a try, but the thing is i havent done any chances to anything between the game working and the game not working? So it really feels like a  tech issue at EA?

Any suggestions how to play in my situation like mine when player from the north speaks english, not german?

Our country has great education system and we learn english by default.

Ping to UK is too much, close to 300ms, with basic connection, i dont currently have acces to fiber, but if i ever get chance to move that willl be a thing. My ping to germany is around 40ms, so is why the game thinks i understand german language, but not in reality.

My computer specs should be fine, i have just recently  less than 6 months ago updated new mobo and new cpu and new memory, i do keep updating my pieces quite often and is self build custom computer, well pass recommended, but i will list them anyway to avoid confusion.

    -CASE:
Cooler Master CM Storm Stryker Windowed XL-ATX, white. <-- Full Tower for better heat management.

    -MOBO:
    Asus PRIME-B250M-K

    -GRAPHIC CARD:

    Asus GeForce GTX 1070 STRIX, 8GB GDDR5

    -CPU:
    Intel Core i5-7600, LGA1151, 3.5GHz, 6MB, Tray @ 4.0ghz

    -CPU COOLER:
    Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

    -MEMORY:
    Corsair 16GB (2x8GB) Vengeance, LPX, DDR4 2133 MHz, CL13

    -PSU:
    Corsair 850W RM850x, 80 PLUS Gold

Corsair 960GB Force LE SSD, 2.5", SATA III, TLC, 560/530 MB/s!

I will propably update my ssd for xmas, used around 2 years now, but everything else works, so this should not be the thing thats giving issues.

If every game and program would give me issues i would have updated my ssd already, but its not the case yet.

    I have the same problem.
Matchmaking problems when starting a BF1 game.

Open battlepacks and changes to my avatar goes fine but cannot not start the game due to matchmaking issues.

The exact message I get is:

    MATCHMAKING FAILED

An unknown error occured, please try again later.

I found that I can play if find server manualy and not via quick match.
I can play if I find a server to play on in the server browser section.

The Quick match Matchmaking system don't work.

    @Schleders @DukeSilverz @Nizzen-no @Starostka-DAFUQ,

Have you guys tried the connection steps that I provided in a previous Post?

    https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/

Also, I would recommend using Server Browser like Schleders said, Quickmatch doesn't always work, and tends to put you in empty servers if it does.

Let us know if those connection steps work for you, and please try using Server Browser instead of Quickmatch.

    Thanks 🙂

The above steps do not resolve the issue. US matchmaking and browsers are not connecting.

    Thanks though.

No resolution and I am kind of tired of waiting for it to be fixed. I am going to just play something else because literally everything else works with no issues. I hope it gets resolved soon though. I am trying to brush up my skills for the release of BF V. Though I won't get it if this kind of stuff happens anymore...

    Hello everyone,

    @Mazzyz85 @DukeSilverz @TVMALSV @Schleders

I'm looking in to the matchmaking issue for Battlefield 1, I few questions first.

    • Do you have a screenshot of the error message?
    • Do you have it quick play ?
    • Do you have it server browser?
    • Platform are you on?
    • Region?

    Thank you!

    /Atic

The issue seems to be resolved now but to answer your questions.

No screenshot but it just kept saying cannot find a match when I did Quickplay. Also showed 0 results.
When I did server browser, a server wouldn't show unless I did server history and when I tried to connect there, it would say disconnected from server.
    I am on PC
North America (Minneapolis/Saint Paul Metro area)

    Hope this helps!

Sucks I couldn't play all Sunday though...

Looks to be related to a server issue we had on Sunday and have now been fixed this morning.

    @BillyBob7054  @sucabliat333

Can you follow the template I posted above on the issue you are having.
