becuase they got your money and don't give a crap.

So I did most of what was recommended in this string but still couldn't get mouse and keyboard to work. 

Finally saw tip on another site saying uncheck beta in origin settings: go to origin window, if top right of window has "beta", go to application settings on origin menu, scroll to bottom, unclick "update to beta version".  Close everything, open origin - shoud automatically update and now "beta" has gone from top right of window.  Open BF4.

Never had beta on, still getting this problem,

would have thought of ea to actually test for bugs AND listen to the community for once,

didn't they find any bugs in the beta?

Just been onto ea support, there is no known fix, but they did just document this for their specialists to look into it, hopefully they will fix it and we need to wait for the next patch...

Nope, doesnt work.

Same for PB update and updating AMD driver.

Edit: minimizing BF4 (window key or alt tab) and closing firefox, and getting into BF4 back again seems to do the trick...

Yes ur right, closing the browser it is working so EA tech support take this inform and fix it please !

Its fixed in catalyst 14.1 beta .. have tested it 

I was able to play BF4 fine last night using the ATI 14.1 Beta driver.  However today.  My keyboard isn't being registered ONLY in BF4... in the main menu, where it say "Press Enter"

I tried several keyboards, same results.

Reboot the computer several time, same results.

Alt+Tab out and changing resolution and going back in the game, same result

I don't have IE11 on my Windows 8.1 so I can't try that.  But I do have Chrome, but same result

Anyone else have other suggestions?  

i had same situation. delete $\documents\battlefield4\settings folder and should work fine.

broken still for me i installed 14.1 drivers played a few matches next day no more keyboard and mouse havent been able to play since i tryed every thing every one has said nothing has worked.
