Summoning two my heroes lets see if they have an idea. @2042isNotBF @ragnarok013 🙂
What do you think is the problem?

I have tried console commands in game. I have reinstalled drivers, game, origin and messed around in my Nvidia control panel and it still has this problem.

Your best bet would be to install NVIDIA Profile Inspector, then to manually change the Frame Rate Limiter setting under the "2. Sync and Refresh" tab to Off.

I have done that it's off
- Hey so just a FYI it seems that Windows 1903 completely destroys FPS in Battlefield 3. Multiple people are having the same problem and there seems to be no way to fix it.
@stichomythia Great. Windows update * * up again.
To anyone still reading this I have fixed the problem I think. I completely reinstalled windows and turned automatic updates off and downloaded each driver/update even tho my fps is locked at 110 - 120 FPS even on low and ultra settings it is still an improvement.

That's weird, I did that too and still get stuck at 66 FPS. What version of Win10 did you reinstall?
Version of windows I am using is Windows 10 pro.
Latest update is 1903.
Does someone fix it?
....I am going back to Win10 ver. 18xx
M$ and EA want f*** BF3 players....
I am not buying BF V anyway.
See ya all
this is not EA´s fault. Blame microsoft. My pc was fine but i udpated to win10 v1903 and i have same problem now. Iam gonna roll back to old v1607
So I just got into BF3 today and my FPS is locked at 30 again? Holy *. I guess there is nothing we can do ffs
Many people have this issue (me included) , It has been reported to both Nvidia and Microsoft to fix it so we don't have anything to do but to wait...
Going to be waiting a long long time then.
I think microsoft will not more care about BF 3 players, cause it is old game and the community is not big. We just can hope they will fix it

Hey everyone,
lets see if we can find a workaround in the mean time I'm going to investigate with my team.
Here is troubleshooting list you can try to get better performance (it’s not guaranteed to work for everyone):
- Tried different graphical settings in the game.
- Try running compatibility mode for windows 7 for BF3.
- Run Ccleaner.
- How to use Ccleaner: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-use-ccleaner-to-fix-pc-issues/
- GPU drivers reinstalled.
- Clean boot the PC.
- How to Clean boot: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
- Turn off Origin in-game.
- Turn off any overlay system and programs.
- Turn of Xbox game bar in windows.
- Run Origin and BF3 as admin.
- Turn off anti-virus/firewall
- Remove the BF3 document folder in documents and then turn off Origin cloud sync for BF3. (it removes settings and it removes the single player progression)
- Reinstall Battlefield 3
- Try a new windows account with admin priviliges.
Let me know if any of the steps above helps or work.
Thank you!

I have tried everything you have said @EA_Atic but I messed around with my firewall/anti-virus and now it's locked to 120 instead of 30 lmao. Also changing my graphic settings does not boost or lower my FPS at all, something is locking my FPS at that but I don't understand what it could be because I get a constant steady 200-250 on BF4 ON HIGH - ULTRA on operation locker full server.

Standard windows defender firewall and currently using Malwarebytes also I think it uncapped my FPS to 120 which it is stuck at but it's better than 30 by adding exclusions in my anti virus and messing with some firewall settings but I can't think of anything else to try also I have run it in compatibility mode it's still the same.

Thanks for the update!
If you turn off Malwarebytes or even temp uninstall the program, does the same issue still happen? @ZG-iwnl
