- ApprovedAnonymous12 years agoA server owner adds his/her server to stream to pbbans and has the option to enforce cross game bans. It is NOT selected by default. It is a choice server owners make conscientiously. Most of the server owners have the mindset that once a cheater, always a cheater. The solution to this problem is pretty easy. Either find and play on non-streaming servers OR EA should provide official servers that stream to pbbans but not enforce cross game bans. As for privately funded/managed servers, they have a right to keep known cheaters out of their servers. It's their choice, end of story.

Thanks we know all that. :manfrustrated:
Thats the whole point of the thread.
EA / Dice needs to put controls in place; this is going to have a NEGATIVE effect on sales and is of legal quesitonablility. I will be ditching BF4 for COD and stop playing because of this...
Again; you pay money for a game with a expecation of play.
The private server arguement is not valid; there is no such thing anymore. EA has locked down private servers to pre-approved vendors and have strict rules if you want the server to be ranked. By doing this; they also have accpeted a certian responiblity and lialbility to make sure fair and apporpiate business pratices are being used on the servers.
This is no different then the liability problems paypal and ebay have; and the countless court cases...
Consumers have certian rights; these cannot be overuled by TOS by punkbuster...
The fact that this measure is 100% in-effective in stopping hackers makes this pratice even more suspectiable to a legal issue; at best its a scummy way of generating more revnue.

Thanks , once a cheater , always cheater .
WTF mindset
What if i open a new origin account and buy BF4 again , the problem should be solved right ??? - ApprovedAnonymous11 years ago
A bit of hypocrisy going on here. This from the admin (that originally posted this thread) that allows his friends to play "who aren't cheating" yet go 28-0 or better. No amount of denial will convince me that anyone goes 0'fer in a game with a 1,200 point limit. Nothing worse than the Admin that espouses fair play, but then allows others to circumvent the rules. As a result of complaining (perhaps too vociferously I would admit) the non-cheater gets banned by said Admin.

Answers HQ cannot do anything about bans because we are a public forum and can’t do anything account management related, but what we can do is tell you how to dispute and appeal a ban.
The general ban dispute email is accountdisputes@ea.com they can take 2 weeks+ to reply.
Read more here on EA services bans: Information about banned or suspended accounts
How to dispute third party bans by Punkbuster, fairfight and GGC-Stream. Note: EA Support cannot do anything about these bans
