Re: (PS3) Black screen problem, help?

I can't believe DICE and EA did not learn anything from the past, they simply are not ready to launch the game. They think they can do a quick Beta to find all the issues and then, like with BF3, there are tons of issues even months after the launch. But this time is a lot worse, I cannot even play the **bleep**ing game!!!

I am a big fan of bf since bad company and I've endured all the launch issues and crap of previous games but this time is too much!

I agree. What infuriates me is EA nor DICE is doing anything about the issues! As if they don't care. They made this game out to be freaking evolution, and quite honestly it's terrible.

Btw, I've also tried a quick formatting yesterday (and losing all my saves of other games, like gta5 thank you DICE) a fresh reinstall but no luck I can only play one map then it's hard reboot time, which is abusing my ps3 even more. I think I will try another formatting (the long one) and then I will give up.

Solution Found!!!

I had this problem. I tried so many things. The last thing I did was delete my profile under game data, doing this deleted my campaign, however, it allowed me to join into games. I told my friend (who was also having the same problem), and it didn't work the first time, but after doing a second it a second time, his game was working (relatively) fine. This may not be a permanent fix, but at least its something for now. I still have other random game freezes, but they don't seem to be related to this particular problem. Hope this helps.

Hmm... I think you have a slightly different problem then I did. I would get into the matches ok, but then when I tried to deploy, I would get a black screen and freeze. Ok, I've seen someone else having problems with map loading screens. When they joined the server directly from the ps3 itself, nothing but problems, but when they joined a server via the battlelog console, they could play no problem (well....at least not the map loading problem anyway, haha). Maybe this is something you could try? I know how frustrating this is. I've been trying to think of every possible angle of attack on this problem (at least from a user standpoint), in order to help people, like my clanmates, get their games working properly. I'll keep trying to figure something out. If I find anymore possible fixes, I'll let you guys know.
