I've not had time to read the post, but the bit below kind of reminds me of BFV (2042 as well, but that doesnt technically have single player since there's no campaign).

"1. A full priced main game with limited single player.

2. Seasons, Battlepass and live service slop.

3. A free to play mode like Warzone."

War Stories. Live Service. Tacked on mode. 

I don't know if that indicates whether the next game will be good or not, but it's interesting info to see.

Edit: Sorry, but I've also moved the thread to the General forum. Purely as it's about the next game rather than 2042.
