The day is based on GMT.  Once you've earned your max 100 scraps for the 24 hour "day", you have to wait until midnight GMT to start a new 24 hour day.  Then you can earn up to 100 scraps.

Tip: You can earn a boatload of valuable battlepacks by winning Operations Battlepacks.  Go to Multiplayer > Operations and see what the current Operations Campaigns are.  After you score 25000 points in both campaigns you will be awarded an Operation Battlepack. You can earn up to 2 Operations Battlepacks each "day".

Tip: Operations Battlepacks contain 3 items: 2 skins and 1 puzzle piece.  One skin is always a special but the 2nd skin will be either distinguished or legendary.  The puzzle piece is valued the same as a legendary.  If you scrap everything in an Operations Battlepack you will earn between 390 and 570 scraps.  Therefore you can earn up to 1040 additional scraps every "day".  I probably earned over 100K scraps this way and it's how I paid for my super legendary items.

Tip: Do not quit until the entire campaign has ended even if you are on the losing team.  If you leave before the campaign is done (remember there are 2 or 3 maps in each campaign), you will forfeit all of your progress.

Tip: Use the Multiplayer > Server Browser filters to find active operations servers globally.  Edit the Game Modes, Regions, and Maps values.  If you live in North America you may need to play on Europe or Asia servers because there aren't always active North America operations servers.  I usually play on Asia servers early in the day and Europe and North America servers at the end of the day (I live in North America).

Tip: Get used to the fact that there are hackers/cheaters out there playing on the public servers.  The hackers will wreck your life.  Not only do they cheat (instant headshots, auto revive teammates, etc) but they can also crash the game server.  You will lose your progress (and your mind) if they crash the server before the campaign has ended.  Get used to it.  I'm serious.

We had Revolver No. 3 not long ago, but at least it's not Madsen or Ross.

Guys does anyone know what's going on with European ops campaign servers? Just got home from work and can't find a single one.

You are not alone.

I find it very difficult to impossible to find a european Ops server at the moment.

@SharpGoblin  Yes and on top of that there is a queue of 7-10 people on all of the remaining available servers. It probably has something to do with past week's server issues.

I believe/hope this is one of those things that just go away after a while.

It has become crazy tedious to earn scraps via Ops, today from 11 am till now I just cant finish Soisson map, every time we get near end with enough points some person is constantly crashing servers. Rapture same, you lose 1 hours for nothing cause EA has most stupid idea where not finished Op doesnt count a single point. So now server crashers made everything a crazy time loss. I got one pack cause in morning was peace, but now its pure hell. They could at least make any point count no matter if we finish Op or not. Its not our fault cause someone is disconnecting a server kick all of us out and making us lose all the effort and time for nothing. Pain

I agree.

Another option might be to close the gaps that these people use to crash the servers.

@SharpGoblin  For me the ops campaigns have become borderline unplayable. Just played in a squad with @VeterinarMario on Soissons and there were cheaters on both sides.

@mrtnm1994117I needed from 11 am till 5 pm to get 2 Ops packs, non stop cheaters, for 4-5 hours I had only 1 clean game. This has become pure pain. And that painful scraps grinding so exchange can put 2 freaking sidearms for whole week in one month (2 times sidearms in last what month and half or smth). DICE is really making it hard for us lol

At least I can be happy I didnt have server crash till now, but playing same map 3 times to get 25k cause you have one shot cheaters as you said on both sides makes grinding so much longer.

@VeterinarMario  Exactly, I had to get the rest of points on a Japanese server with 270 ping. Now i have almost 20k scraps but nothing to spend it on. Today's operations battlepack dropped a C-CLASS AIRSHIP skin, I did not even know that thing had skins at all :D
