This is also happening to me. Please fix ASAP. So frustrating not being able to complete campaign. 

So either EA should fix or offer full refund for broken product.... 😕mileywink:

Update:

Just managed to get the stinger. Here's exactly what I did. But keep in mind I tried several times without it appearing.

1) Resume campaign (mission 10)

2) Press start -> select restart mission

3) Press start -> select quit

4) Quit to dashboard

5) Go to system settings -> storage -> HD -> Battlefield 3 -> delete mp update 5

6) Start BF3 -> Resume campaign

    Just deleted the multiplayer update 5, started game and resumed campaign and stinger is there!  Thanks for this!!

    Will deleting this multiplayer update stop the multiplayer game from working properly?

    Yes it will.. you will have to delete it and then redownload it.  I deleted it, then when i started the game it said i needed an update so i accepted, then continued the campaign where i left off (the invisible stinger checkpoint) and the update downloaded in the background as i continued the single player campaign.  Without the update you wont be able to play on most online servers, just a few of them.

    How do you redownload it, will it automatically come up when you load up the game?
