Yes I am using the headset. I have the voip setting on. I can use game chat ok when playing in a platoon. Also, from the party chat option, I have verified that I am not in a party-it says "Start a party?"

Team VoIP does not exist on Battlefield 4. However. If you are the commander, you should be able to communicate with the entire team. But this is only possible if you are not in a squad. Then you must change voice channel.

Also. If you are in an Xbox LIVE party chat, you can't use the voice chat on Battlefield 4.

Let me start over...

So when I am playing in a platoon, I can talk with chat on the xbox headset through the controller. This works for both game chat and party chat.

However, when I am playing as commander, I cannot talk with the chat through the headset that was just working while playing in game chat.
