Recent update and new DLC, PS3

You are not alone. I'm a PS3 Premium member and since the update and DLC. BF4 has become unplayable.

Rubberbanding and lag has become horrendous even though I only play in my own region on servers with the strongest possible connection. The problems are numerous, not just lag - random character movement with no input from me, when ADS my sights jump around like a tick making it impossible to lock onto or track enemies - it's happening on all weapons and all sights/scopes. Even using a bipod on a perfectly flat surface the weapon exhibits this strange desire to jump around as if someone is kicking it, or my prone character will start crawling for no apparent reason.

I went to the test range to check it out - to find that not only did it happen there too, but that the Range itself is malfunctioning in a major way - targets not going down when hit, player randomly starting to rotate to the left, everything is just broken.

Thefall patch made the game so much better in terms of hit detection and latency issues but now I have to say this is the worst BF4 has ever been for me. All maps and gamemodes seem to be affected, the update destroyed all my settings and loadouts as well.

Plenty of answers seem to have been forthcoming for PC users regarding the rubberbanding but console players seem to be getting nowhere.

2 weeks of early access are rendered worthless and the update has definitely been a major disaster if my experience is anything to go by.

Maybe, just maybe, someone out there is listening to us and will get these problems resolved - and quickly?
