Hello BF4

I have been considering two alternatives when it comes to upgrading my computer to be ready for BF4. I Currently have a Sapphire Radeon 7850 HD and have been considering to upgrade it to something like an Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 or getting another Radeon 7850 HD and running them in Crossfire. My question is whether or not anyone knows which wil lbe the best alternative for BF4 and games in general (also play D3, Rift, Dota 2, SC 2 etc. )  Money also needs to be taken into consideration since getting another Sapphire Radeon 7850 will be ½ the price of a newer GFX.

Overall Specs:

Operating System:
Windows 8 Pro 64-bit

CPU:
Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67GHz
Bloomfield 45nm Technology

RAM:
18.0GB Triple-Channel DDR3 @ 529MHz (8-8-8-20) (529 x 3 = 1600 MHz)

Motherboard:
ASUSTeK Computer INC. P6T (LGA1366)

Graphics:

DELL U2311H (1920x1080@60Hz)
H243H (1920x1080@60Hz)
2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series (Sapphire/PCPartner)

Hard Drives:
699GB SAMSUNG HD753LJ ATA Device (SATA)
238GB Samsung SSD 840 PRO Series ATA Device (SSD)

  • Well... We can't really tell yet what card will be the best option for playing BF4.

You can always look on this article:

    http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107.html

This should help you deside how much money you are willing to spend and on what.

Hope that pointed you in the right direction 🙂

Please accept solutions if they are correct and press the XP button if somebody helped you. This way you case will show as "Solved" thus helping others with the same problem.

    Kind regards, Tviggah

    Hello,

In my opinion you should upgrade VGA because bf4 going to have some huge amount of graphics that going to use lot of resources on your pc, maybe 2 780 gtx would do a job and GPU at least i7, but you can check even now this webpage http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri to be sure which components you need upgrade, maybe best idea to wait and see how your pc going to handle beta...

    Regards, Libever
