Redeem Revolution key with existing standard, does it work?

I already have the standard edition installed on my origin account, I bought it right away in G2A since it was cheap I found out that Revolution has extra content and I thought of buying it but the ...

    @Gimorez The information you've been given is correct.

    Only thing to bear in mind is that as G2A are not authorised resellers (they're a grey market site) you will not receive any product support if something goes wrong.

@Gimorez Correct, it'd be how @Viancee_IlI described it. You're effectively upgrading your game to a definitive edition.

@ElliotLH @Viancee_IlI Thanks! I'm just confuse since Revolution has base game too and I think G2A are reliable site likewise.

    @Gimorez Totally understand, we all enjoy a bargain after all, but purchasing from a seller on the G2A site would still be at your own risk as they're not authorised resellers.

      @ElliotLH So I thought now about researching the effects when buying in grey markets that other games are getting “revoked” and it occurred to me not to buy on G2A again and just keep this game and hopefully nothing bad happened on my account

      And waiting until authorized resellers goes on sale are the good option :D
