Redeem Revolution key with existing standard, does it work?

I already have the standard edition installed on my origin account, I bought it right away in G2A since it was cheap

I found out that Revolution has extra content and I thought of buying it but the Premium pass is more expensive than Revolution

So if I buy Revolution key, is it possible to install it again and keep my Bf1 std or what will happen? Does it work like doubled the game or it will replace the standard edition something?

I hope you guys understand my question.
