Rent-A-Server No More Custom Map Rotations Under Official Server Type

    @MacGuyverSA @cptvoyager @quipsy671 This change was intentional in the last update. If you don't like it I suggest you give your feedback on the battlelog forums so the devs can see it and review it to be possibly reverted. Devs don't come to these forums, so they will never see this post.

@cptvoyager Do you mean that you are unable to change the settings of your server at all? Also doficial means you can only change the name and description of the server, the rest are set to Visceral's "Official" gameplay settings. Also kicking/moving/banning players is disabled. Set it to ranked and you can make adjustments.

No i'm not talking about kicking/moving/banning or changing the servers name or description.

It seems a change was made so that custom map rotations cannot be set on servers marked "official".

Before if I wanted to rotate only a few maps in a gamemode (as long as they were in the same map pack) or even the same map over and over, I could do that and still have the server be official... it would only prevent me from doing this if I wanted to rotate a map from lets say... getaway and robbery in the same rotation.

But now... if I want to do that, I have to set it as a ranked server.

But... this only affects people who attempt to change their server settings as I did... but there are STILL servers that are "Official" that have custom map rotations such as Downtown 24/7 Servers which is not only unfair for people like myself but misleading as it gives the impression that it's still possible to Rent A Server, have a custom map rotation and still have it "Official" meaning people can join via Quick Join.
