Rubber Banding and Latency UK

Hi all,

I am having issues with rubber banding and lag while playing battlefield 1 on Xbox 1. This issue has only occurred since last Friday, before that the game play was great. I have followed the trouble shooting advice, such as resetting my router, hard resetting my console and power cycling, I have also made an effort to connect to servers near myself that have high ping (these being in Ireland and Germany) but with no help. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled the game on two occasions to see if that would fix the issue.

Checking my console everything seems fine, my internet connection is strong and multiplayer connection is good, my Nat type is open, packet lose is always between 0 - 1 and ping always stays between 27 - 45 ms. other multiplayer games play fine on the console and it appears that i only have this issue with battlefield 1.

Does anybody have any advice to fix this on my end or could it be a server issue??

Hi @EA_Atic ,
Thank you for your help with this matter, i've tried all the trouble shooting steps and they haven't worked, so i shall do what you have said and talk to my internet service provider. Again thank you for looking into my issue 🙂 .

Sorry to hear about the connective issues you are experiencing with Battlefield 1.

When you are playing do you see an icon in the right corner? Can you turn on network graph in the settings and when you have lag can you take a screenshot of the of how the graph looks.

Hi @EA_Atic,
When i Play i see an amber and red lag icon in the corner and occasionally what looks like a server icon. next time i play i shall do what you said and try and take a screen shot and post on here. thank you for looking into my issue i really appreciate it.

Hey, @matpiccolo22 Thanks for that photo!

I can see on that photo that you are losing that to that server

PKT Loss is when you lose data to the server.

Network Variation is when your internet is not stable, in other words, its network jitter to the server.

If none of the network troubleshooting worked I highly recommend that you talk to your ISP. Something is not working as it should with your network to the server as its pointed out in the screenshot you have provided. 🙂
