First off, what graphics settings and screen resolution you're playing at? It would be useful if  you could elaborate a bit more on "bad performance". Do you experience stuttering during gameplay or any FPS drops?

I doubt that your CPU is the cause of the performance issues. It would be really useful to look at your overall PC specifications. Please attach a DxDiag and I will have a closer look at your system specs.

You should be good to go hardware-wise. How bad are the frame drops? It's still a pretty demanding game and you can expect some rare FPS drops into mid 40's in multiplayer on your system.

It could be software related and I would advise the following:

    a) Do a clean video driver reinstall, especially useful when using AMD cards: click. By doing this you'll make sure there are no leftover files from the old version and they are not conflicting with the newer driver.

    b) Clean boot your PC: click. This way you can check for any software related conflicts.
