Saying I have an incompatible operating system?

So I've been using this setup for hundreds of games on my PC, and today when I tried to join a game I got this error:

UNABLE TO LAUNCH THE GAME FROM THIS DEVICE
Please check that you fulfil all of these requirements:
Windows Vista or later
Compatible 32-bit (not 64-bit) Web Browser

There is a check for the compatible browser, but there's a red X through the Windows Vista or later. I'm running a 64 bit Windows 7. Any ideas on fixing the error?

    -Run the game as ADMINISTRATOR.
Go to the Origin games folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4) and find Bf4.exe. Right click it and go to PROPERTIES, then COMPATIBILITY and tick the box next to RUN THIS PROGRAM AS ADMINISTRATOR

Make sure that the box next to RUN THIS PROGRAM IN COMPATIBILITY MODE' is not ticked.

Do the same with BF4_x86.exe as well.

    -Run Origin as Administrator
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin and right click on Origin.exe and go to properties. Then go to compatability tab and tick the box next to RUN AS ADMIN.

    - Also in your browser's .exe ('explorer.exe' for example) right lcik it and go to Properties and 'compatibility and make sure that the box next to RUN THIS PROGRAM IN COMPATIBILITY MODE' is not ticked.

  • I have done all this and it didn't work. I reinstalled the Battlelog web plugin multiple times because this is the 12th time I run into this issue. Sometimes it works after I reinstall Chrome, and sometimes it works after I reinstall the Battlelog plugin. However, there doesn't seem to be a permanent fix for this issue (or a fix from the guys operating Battlelog).

Is there a permanent fix for this issue? Or are the Battlelog staff going to resolve this themselves? Because getting this idiotic, no-sense-making error is ridiculous.
