Server rental for BF4?

Hey, folks. Quick simple question. I am wondering if server rentals for BF4 on PC are still available? I may just be dumb, but I cannot seem to find it. Would like to host. Any input on the matter?

  • Hello xxDoomxKnightxx,

Yes, there are still many hosting companies for renting Battlefield 4 servers. I can't directly write the name of the company, but just search for "Battlefield 4 hosting".

  • I don't recommend you to rent a server at this time, Because Chinese criminals are launching massive DDoS attacks.

The number of players worldwide has dropped significantly and cannot operate normally, Unless you already have 50+ regular members, start filling slots in the morning in your time zone.

Even so, it will overlap with the night time of China time, This means that the guy will start monitoring the number of people on servers around the world, and will launch a DDoS attack if there are players playing the game.

    PM 5:00 to PM 11:00 UTC+8

This is the time frame when he launched the DDoS attack, Whether in North America or Europe, the same time is very painful, which means you have to wait many times before you have a chance to fill it up.

Based on these reasons, I don't recommend you rent a server.

It is completely allowed to rent servers in China, and if it is found to be a domestic attack, legal sanctions can be taken.

First, I strongly condemn the hackers who launch DDoS attacks on game servers, but there's nothing I can do about it. I have no control over hackers from all over the world.

Then, I curse those players who cheat in games: may they have no descendants (a malicious verbal attack). But again, there's nothing I can do, because the Windows system does not use a sandbox mechanism to isolate applications. In an environment where there is demand, there will be profit, so cheating players can exist in any country, not just China. (It's possible that Chinese players make up a large proportion of the global player base, or maybe...QAQ It's like some people who can't win with their fists, or lose face, and then use a gun to retaliate.)

Secondly, China's unique political environment and handling methods have brought benefits to ordinary people, but of course, there are also the parts you mentioned about "losing freedom." But doesn't the U.S. have that? Japan? India? The UK, France, Italy? No way, right? Those who understand, understand. What the hell is LGPTQ? What is game company Ubisoft facing now? How much politically correct stuff is in American movies? Sigh, this kind of discussion is boring, let's just talk about games.

Finally, I'm not trying to whitewash, prove, or defend anything about China. I just hope this game can be better, so that players from all over the world can have fun together.

Chinese players cheat a lot? Fine! Lock the region, restrict Chinese IPs to Chinese servers, problem solved!

Since I started playing this game, it has grown from a small group of people to the well-known stage it is at now, full of cheaters. It just shows that this is a good game, just like how Tencent now copies and stitches together to make their own games (imitation, if you can't beat them, join them, players express disdain, no original games).

    Finally:

    1. Racial hatred towards China
Give any country the conditions to grow strong, and they will destroy the countries they were once hostile to. Don't throw around accusations.
    2. DDoS
      Business competition, hacker profits
    3. Player cheating
There are idiots everywhere, not just in China
    4. Political censorship system for renting servers
      National security considerations

    Question?
After reading your related posts, I feel that you are very hostile towards China. I don't know what happened to you, but you can tell us, and we can give you some advice.

I will tell you my answer in a very simple sentence:
All of EA's terms and conditions allow for legal action against other countries, United States, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, These countries will not refuse judicial investigation requests from the United States.

On the contrary, China can refuse and guarantee the freedom of criminals, so you are not qualified to join the Global Multiplayer, And the Chinese attackers have caused me over $2,000 USD in monetary losses, and I can't be angry about it?

  • do not buy servers, hackers attack for a month and EA has no intention of solving to promote new games, now they have killed the game do not waste money
