SLI stutter on Sunken Dragon
I am experiencing the SLI stutter many people have been refering to in the forums, but my issue isn't as severe as others. I am hoping I just need to optimize something to get this to work smoothly for me. I get occasional stutter on other maps, but this could be attributed to an overloaded server, network conditions or some setting I need to optimize, hence my question.
Since I have a high efficiency PS and it is fairly new (<1 year), I don't believe it is the issue. I checked http://www.extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine to determine my power consumtion (including overclock and a 10% capacitor aging or one year's worth of use) and the results show I need an 800 watts power supply for 90% system utilization. Since my PS is also SLI certified, I am fairly sure this isn't the issue, unless I got a bad PS.
My CPU is strong enough, it should drive the 680s just fine.
I load the game fast enough I am usually one of the first people out on a map, if not the first person to spawn.
I only get consistent stutter on Dragon's Teeth - Sunken Dragon map and only when the water is drained OUT. I am choppy (looks like 20fps) until the water is let back in. This happens identically in all resolutions Low through Ultra. When someone lets the water back in, I have no issues, even at Ultra. If I disable SLI, my performance is reduced but this map is then consistent and no stutter.
