Yeah, but in Hardline (which, as far as I remember, is the only other recent BF with zeroing) height from which the bullet is shot wasn't changed midway through game's life. Basically, they had to apply that 'fake' 100m zeroing (which in reality isn't zeroing at all) in order to keep sniper rifles accurate at their normal range of use without being forced to resort to messing with all the sniper rifle values.
