@InvisiblePony Hey, I'm not sure if you're familiar with the mechanic, but this is intended, to encourage folks to use sniper weapons at their optimal "sweet spot" range. It's not really realistic, but I assume it was put in place to dissuade certain tactics, and to give close-range fighters a better chance once they close the distance with enemy scouts.
