yes i tried to repair it but it did not work... i did a clean boot and my game works correctly but i got kicked by punkbuster (because i disabled it i think), do i have to do this every time i want to play, is my pc working correctly when i do this, and do i have to reenable all when im finished gaming?
btw here's the file
If the game works in a clean boot then I think some program(s) conflicts with the game. You will need to find that program and delete it from your PC. Also, try to run BF4.exe as administrator from your folder where the game was installed. Perhaps you will need to reinstall your audio drivers.

thanks for the help but for some reasons my game now works correctly without doing anything. I launched it yesterday and today and both times it froze and muted, but once it unfroze the sound came back. I'll try something if the problem comes back.

So, have you tried my advice above? Perhaps, reinstalling your Audio driver will fix the issue (Realtek Audio Driver available for download here: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsCheck.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false )
Also, try to run BF4.exe as Administrator from the folder where the game was installed and test the game.
