Its a less of a bug more of abusing the system. I have sent this on to the team. 🙂

The one caveat to this is that the tank or vehicle must be ready to spawn into (i.e. the internal system respawn timer counted down to zero so that the vehicle becomes ready during the retreat to the next sector).
