Spotting is buggy and hard after last update

After the latest PS4 update for battlefield 4, spotting is very hard, even while aiming down sight towards the target player, pressing R1 does not spot for before the third or fourth time (most of the times)

Im not able to play any more like that, it is really a killing bug for me

And this bug all my friends tell me they have it too after the last update (im new in the game although im a hardline player, i knew it was after the last update from them)

im sorry that i purchased a premium account for such an annoying experience

    in the start of battlefield 4 was spotting way to OP so its a nerf and not a bug but it may have bean nerfet a bit to hard. its is ment to be like you need to aim directly on the enemy to spot them and not just pressing the stop butten to find enemies, but a support butten Fx. you cant kill the enemy with your weapon at that range (or somting) so you spot him so another teammate can kill him(If he has a better shot). But it is a bit to hard to stop enemies now and i hope it will be fixed.
