Starting in fullscreen mode using DirectX 12 gives black screen/frozen menu

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Launch the game in fullscreen with DX 12 enabled.
What happens when the bug occurs? Only started having this bug a few days ago and have been playing ok for a few days since the last BF1 patch so I am not sure what has caused this, but when launching the game now in fullscreen with DirectX 12 enabled this will just load a black screen, with the loading indicator in the top-right corner frozen. I can alt-tab out and the menu will appear with sounds playing, I can move the cursor around and click on things, but what is supposed to be showing on-screen will not update unless I alt-tab out and back in. Here is a video to show it a bit further as explaining with words is a bit tricky. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQSs8TndTy4 The sudden jumps in the video are when I am having to alt-tab out and back in, which updates the screen. Notice that when changing to borderless the issue doesn't occur. Things I have done already: Repaired the game through Origin. Installed latest drivers (done this twice, updated them yesterday, and also tried the new nvidia hotfix driver released today). Deleted my profile/config and made a new one.
