I've never gotten a message to carry over my stats from Xbox 360 to Xbox one for battlefield 4. It looks like many people are also have this problem, is there any way to still somehow transfer over my stats?

At this point there's nothing you can do besides wait for an update from EA/DICE. @dannyu33
At the current time, there is no official word from EA or DICE on this matter. We will have to wait until we hear what is going on.
There is a possible workaround available. Give it a try.
1. While on the main Dashboard, Sign Out of your Xbox Live Account
2. Open / Start up Battlefield 4
3. While on the main menu, sign back into your Xbox Live Account
4. You should now see the prompt
