guys im still getting direct X crashes with 7950 OC and newest amd beta drivers 13.11 beta 9.2
it happens right after i see wierd stuff on the screen like black flashing lines, and then the lines get faster and worse and then it crashes and says something about direct X not working . and no my gfx or cpu is not overheating! yes i have checked the temps
Sadly none of the "fixes" in this thread have worked. I still crash very, very regularly as the game is loading. Once I am in a game it's largely okay - doesn't crash all that often...as long as nothing else happens on my PC (no alt+tab / message alerts e.t.c). I am running dual display if that's useful? (with BF4 running only on one screen - 2048x1152. (I saw something about window size in one of the direct X errors).
its got the be a problem with the game itself as i have tried EVERYTHING now and every prossible gfx card driver!!!!!!
i hope this is acknologed and fixed in the next client update next week!!!

uinstall the amd drivers from the control pannel
reboot

reboot
run http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download and scan registry then fix issues
reboot
install AMD beta drivers 13.11 beta v8
reboot
right click battlefield 4 in origin and then click repair install
then go to origin game folder battlefield 4 , installer, vc, vc, redist and install / repair BOTH x64 and x86 then go to battlefield 4, installer, directx, redist and install DXSETUP.EXE
open origin. go to application settings then origin in game and UNTICK enable origin in game then click my games tab and right click battlefield 4 then game properties and select x86 in the drop down tab then apply!
