Stuck at Logging in when joining a server or playing campaign

If I try to join a server it wil stay stuck on LOGGING IN or even if I try to play single player, battlelog still remains stuck on LOGGING IN. The Battlefield 4 Window pops up but is blank and frozen. I tried the following:

-Reinstalled Battlefield 4

-Reinstalled Origin

-updated PB manually

- Tried different Browsers

- Tried turning off firewall

-Tried different anti viruses

-Tried turning off anti virus

I was able to play the game fine for a couple of days and now this.  Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to anyone that takes the time to help.

  • Can you list your PC Specs? Also please run a dxdiag and post the results. Which GPU are you using? Which GPU driver set are you using, are they Beta or WHQL drivers?

bump incase anyone knew a possible solution

  • Hi there, below is a list I usually post of common fixes:

-Do a repair install of the game in Origin. In origin right click your game and from drop down choose repair install.

-make sure that you've updated your drivers to latest version.
Choose a 'clean install' (usually in the advanced install options)
If the problem only began after updating your graphics driver then try reverting to a previous driver (again choosing 'clean install)

    - make sure that your firewall/anti virus isn't preventing the game, Punkbuster or Origin from launching.
Also check the quality of your internet connection.

    -Run the game as ADMINISTRATOR.
Go to the Origin games folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4) and find Bf4.exe. Right click it and go to PROPERTIES, then COMPATIBILITY and tick the box next to RUN THIS PROGRAM AS ADMINISTRATOR.
Do the same with BF4_x86.exe as well.

    -Disable Origin in game.
In Origin - Application settings - Origin in Game - disable Origin in game

    -Run Origin as Administrator
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin and right click on Origin.exe and go to properties. Then go to compatability tab and tick the box next to RUN AS ADMIN.

    -Reinstall DirectX.
    1:go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\directx\redist
2:Find file named DXSETUP.exe and right click on it and choose RUN AS ADMINISTRTOR. Install it. It should update your DirectX install.
3: You might need to reboot computer first.
    4: try to launch game.

    -Reinstall C++ redistributables.

Exact same problem, I have premium and was playing fine up to the 25th of feb patch and the patches since then have made no difference. Cant get past the loading notification.

I have tried all your suggestions but not working still unfortunately. I tried the removal of the 'user' line in the user file for a fix but also didnt do anything for me while it worked for others. I tried a repair since then still nothing. Basically I was fine untill their patches come out

Do either of you have a user.cfg file in your C:\Program Files9x86)\Origina Games\Battlefield 4 folder?

If so, rename it. Then try to join a server. If it resolves your issue, then there is a problem in your user.cfg.

    Likely this line

    UI.DrawEnable 1

If that does not work then try this:

Go to your Documents folder. There is a folder in there called Battlefield 4. Open it and then open the settings folder.

    Rename the file called

    PROFSAVE_profile to PROFSAVE_profile.old

    Then try the game again.

If that resolves your issue then some in game setting massed things up for you. The only drawback is you will have to setup your keybindings and in game settings again.

You are the MAN lol hadnt tried the settings rename option before and thats allowed me to be able to load into games again finally. I can actually play, only problem now is the instant I press escape and click options to change settings it freezes. Unsure why, maybe with the new change it wont allow me to. Would love to change my sensitivity but very appreciative of the work around, thankyou.
Hopefully further updates will provide a solid fix. Are they aware of this problem?
