STUTTER PATCH?

Running AMD HD 7850 on a AMD Phenom II 6 core 1090T 3.2 GHz

Runs every game great EXCEPT BF4 Multiplayer.  Crazy stuttering, chart goes off the screen when something blows up or I zoom in with scope rendering this game unplayable in multiplayer.

Any fixes?

  • Did that.

1.) Ran punkbuster, visual basic, direct x

    2.)Tired new beta drivers

    3.)Unparked all CPU cores

4.)Turned pc to high performance settings

5.)Tried multiple ingame resolutions even on low.

    6.)Tried custom user.cfg files

7.)Defraged my HDD and the game, 0% fragmentation

It runs at 60fps, but when I look around or something ingame blows up/moves frames stutter to 0-14 then go back to 60, and the chart spikes

Game is broken. Unplayable. FIX IT PLZ

  • Also got this.

Things ive tried to reduce / fix microstutter

*Set exe via task manager to "low priority"

*install AMD Catalyst 13.11 Beta 8 drivers  ( clean install )

    *disable core parking  ( windows 7 )

    *lower graphics options

    *defragmented my HDD's

*ran both the X86 and X64 executables from the Origin launcher popup

*reinstalled DirectX from the _Installer directory

*reinstalled vcredist_x64 from the redist folder

*installed dot net framework 4.5.1  ( as suggested by other players )

None of these work at all,  I'm often running at more than 80FPS and then BAM!!  I get intense dips.

the dips seem to be CPU related even though I'm WAAAY above recommended for everything.

    I have the same problem.

It makes impossible to play this game. :-( The singleplayer campaign is the same...

    BF3 runs fine.

    My system:
    AMD Phenom 2 X4 955 BB
    AMD HD6950 DD
    4GB Kingston HyperX

I have 60 FPS but every 4-5 sec i have 2-3 FPS then 60 fps again...
I tried the dxsetup, I have installed the latest drivers, and nothing helps.
I hope they will fix this.

    make a user.cfg and add

    PerfOverlay.DrawFps 1
    Perfoverlay.drawgraph 1
    PerfOverlay.Enable 1

    • Press tilde (~) to open the console
    • Type in gametime.maxvariablefps 60

This seems to help with the framerate situation after an explosion.  If you set it to 60 max, there seems to be enough GPU power left over to take care of the explosion and then not sink the framerate after.

Now... it didn't help the stuttering problem for me though.
