Seems like I may have fixed it. I checked my video card drivers (i have a nvidia gtx 760 btw) and noticed that on Nvidia Geforce experience in preferences, under game streaming it was set to stream data - i'm sure I didn't turn this on, so I turned it off. Bit early to say whether it works 100% (still seems a bit stuttery when i tested it, and it was early morning) but I will test it again tonight at peak times to see.
Hi just my view lol but Geforce experience is a silly program never use it and thinking on it I bet its the issue. When I install my video card driver I only allow what I need so I keep out the HD Audio driver and the Geforce experience program... I have a GTX690.
If you still have issues when you test BF4 try doing a clean install of the video card driver but keep out the Geforce experience and HD Audio driver. No program like Geforce experience should be setting video card settings and what not. When I tried it the one time it gave me bad settings and loss of FPS it was removed so fast from my PC silly program but just my view . :womanhappy:

- ragnarok01311 years agoHero+One thing that friends of mine have stated is that their stuttering and rubberbanding went away when they disabled their onboard sound cards. My buddy WDA_Punisher posted this video addressing the problem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjBCQjRhKn8&feature=youtu.be&a

Hi, I think what I did this morning has fixed the issue. The lag I am getting is not graphic related, I watched the video ragnarok posted and that's not what is happening. Basically it's like every couple of seconds you stop and spring back 10 feet, like you're running against a rubber band (hence the expression).
It's awful as you will be shooting somebody and they will actually be a few feet ahead, or you'll bounce back and miss them anyway, even if they're standing still.
I am still getting the odd spike but it's no where near as bad, so my advice is to anybody else with the problem is to check you're not accidentally streaming all of a sudden!
It's very strange as in game my ping will always be low despite the fact it clearly looks like a latency issue.
