System Settings and custom soldier configurations were reset

[Edited]

Machine translation
I am a Chinese player, Beijing time 2024.4.30, I normally play BF1 on Windows 10 and normally close the game, but after I log in to the game on 2024.5.1, I find that my system Settings and custom soldier configuration are reset, but the EA app did not tell me that my cloud archive was wrong. I tried to restart the game, restart and restore the EA app, and restart the PC, all failed to solve the problem, the solution I found on the network was to restore the previous cloud archive through origin, but now that the EA app has replaced origin, I did not find the function to restore the previous cloud archive on the EA app. I want EA to restore my cloud archive to the state of 2024.4.30 Beijing time.

    Hey @Husk-Nihilius

Unfortunately, it is not possible to restore game progress from any specific date.

Does it mean that you have lost your single-player campaign progress or that your online settings have been reset?

My online Settings have been reset. With FPS games, Settings have a huge impact on the game experience, but I forgot my previous Settings, so if I can't restore, I have to adjust them over and over again, which is a waste of time and annoying.

I understand that it can be quite frustrating if your game settings reset unexpectedly. Unfortunately, we are unable to restore your lost settings. However, you can always create a backup copy of your existing settings file to prevent this from happening again.

If you continue to experience issues with your settings resetting after closing the game, you can try the following steps:

    1. Navigate to Program Files and locate the EA Games folder.

    2. Right-click on Battlefield 1 and select Properties.

    3. Uncheck the Read Only box and click Apply and OK.

    4. If you are unable to uncheck the Read Only box, you may need to perform a DNS flush and then reboot your computer.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
