12 years ago"The connection with EA Online was lost" PLEASE HELP battlefield 4
Firstly after never playing BF before so I downloaded BF4 Beta on Xbox 360. At the screen adjustment, the error message "The connection with EA Online was lost" would appear. I asked around and was told I needed a Origin account, so I signed up. I attempted the Beta again just to find the same error message. I then borrowed BF3 from my brother to find the same error then BF4 came out on 360 and I borrowed that too from my brother.......... "The connection with EA Online was lost". I then asked him to sign in on my xbox to try for himself and he got into a game almost instant. NOW I have the xbox one with my own new copy of BF4 and I've tried everything to play, spent hours to fix it but again "The connection with EA Online was lost". I want to scream now please help. Is it my account? Do EA not like me? Or do I give up and ask for a refund?
- Anonymous12 years agoAfter taking over a month I finally got to play a BF title on multiplayer. The problem is now resolver 🙂 I eventually found the number for EA customer support. They looked into my origin account and found that I used to have an origin account from when I played FIFA 07 all them years ago, but as I never used my account since they automatically closed my origin so that when I created this new one over a month ago, both accounts clashed and stopped me from playing but they did not know why origin would let me have an old account with the same email as the new one or why, if it was deleted, was it still on there system. I am happy now after spending hours over this issue but EA support were great and as soon as I gave the the whole story, they fixed it in ten minuets flat. Thanks Daniel at EA support
