The data for the following application is corrupted...

Hi.
On the Metro map about 10-20 seconds in, and on a few other maps from different map packs, about 1- 5 minutes in, I get the following message:

"Cannot continue using the application. The data for the following application is corrupted. Delete the application from the PS4 and then download it again from [Library] on the home screen."

How can I be 100 percent sure that when I reinstall the game, my multiplayer progress is not reset or lost?

You can be sure, the soldier progress is saved on our Battlelog servers and not on your actual console data. It is not possible to delete your progress on your console as all data, progress, unlocks etc. are saved on Battlelog. Even if you completely remove the game including all campaign data save files, you will be still able to see and check your soldier progress on your Battlelog page via a browser.

You can just delete the expansion data on your console and download it again without to worry about your soldier.

    Cheers

  • That's what I thought, but I have tested all the maps repeatedly, and I only get this error message using the following maps:

    Metro 2014

    Propaganda

    Golmud Rail

    Dawnbreaker

So there is definitely a pattern (of what, I have no idea)
Should I try just deleting and re-installing the map packs first?  I will follow the instructions to re-install the whole game, but if that doesn't work, then I'm not sure where to turn.

I have the same issue but this happens as soon as I deploy, I have also deleted and re-downloaded this game multiple times it happens 100% of the time.
